In this Paper, the tower crane's actuality,developing trends and developing direction in and out of china were described, and it's very important for our modern industry. And we researched in the static and dynamic analysis task, this article took the finite element theory, analyzed the static and dynamic response of the cantilever structure, which is the key mental structure of tower crane, as to direct design and improve the technique performance of tower crane.According to the tower crane's demands in real production, described the related theory and achieving theory of finite element method used in tower crane, as based in structure analysis of tower crane, accomplished the jobs of modeling,meshing,constraint,loading and so on.The research processor could be divided into two Parts, and the large finite element software like ANSYS was used. Then got the displacement and stress regulation of distribution under the static and dynamic load condition, at last, comPared to the test dates, and truly evaluated the tower crane, put forward the problems which should be regarded as important.In this article, to lead our country's engineering analysis method in further research is the purpose, especially the problem as dynamic trait. We hope the methods used in the article could be reference to our country's tower crane diagnosing.
