Solidify the soft coastal beach of Liaoning Province artificially with no drainage, and then form a thinner, higher strength and larger man-made hard shell on the surface. By using this curing method to solidify the soft soil, the natural cycle of the soft beach can be greatly shortened. Moreover,the bearing capacity of the artificial cured foundation that was compared to the natural beach foundation will be improved greatly, when the soft soil is covered by the man-made hard shell.First, conduct the unconfined compression test, compare and analysis a large number of test data, and then the optimal curing agent and the best mixing ratio will be geted. In this process, study the formation of the artificial hard shell layer, the whole deformation of the curing foundation and the modes of the curing foundation's failure, and obtain the growth period of the hard shell's strength and the method that play great role in improving the unconfined compression and changing the failure mode of the hard shell layer .In addition, by comparing the elastic model of the curing test block without the geotextile fiber and that contains the geotextile fiber, summarize the effect of the geotextile fiber.Second, in the coastal region, solidifying the foundation project is the foundation those bearing capacity is less demanding and the hard shell always covers largely and has a small thickness. And in this case, considering the diffusion of hard shell layer having some limitations, the closure of the hard shell layer also need to be considered. The numerical analysis shows that the closure of the man-made hard shell layer will play an important role in the decrease of the additional stress in each level of the foundation. Up to now, no specific numerical analysis on the study of this hard shell layer's closure has been given. And then, in the study of this paper, winkler plate theory has been used to prove the board body effect of the man-made hard shell and the performance that is similar to the beam.Third, because of the artificial hard shell of the curing foundation, the deformation of the whole foundation has been limited and the bearing capacity of the foundation has also been significantly improved. In this paper, by carrying out the finite element simulations of the cover closed foundation, the foundation with non-sealed hard shell layer and the natural soft soil foundation, the effect of the closure of the hard shell on the additional stress and the settlement of the foundation have been shown. Launch the indoor plate loading test,and compare the test data to the result of the finite element simulation. And then, carry out the numerical analysis, and the curve of those physical and mechanical parameters can be obtained.Finally, summarize the work that has been done, and discuss the further research.
