Research On Highway Entrance Ramp Control System Based On Fuzzy Logic Algorithm

Along with the social economy development and improvement of people's living standard and the whole society to transportation demand increasingly, highway traffic problems and cause the attention of people. This paper highway operation of the facing problems and causes, and points out that the analysis of expressway traffic congestion is the main problem, its operation is the most effective solution for highway to control and management. In highway control method entries in the ramp control is the most widely used, the effect of the one of the best control form.Papers on the existing entrance ramp control methods and corresponding algorithm are classified summarized, based on a detailed analysis of the mathematical model, and according to the control method of expressway traffic system time-varying, randomized, complex characteristics, points out the existing entrance ramp control technology of expressway traffic problems is to solve the effective way.For highway traffic system can't get accurate mathematical model , with uncertainties, is complicated nonlinear system features and choose the fuzzy controller for highway entrance ramp control, design with entrance ramp cars in the upstream and entrance ramp sections average density of inputs, ramp regulation of the fuzzy controller for output. Ramp the design of fuzzy controller is this thesis research such as the key, but other traffic information collection, analysis and transmission as highway entrance ramp control aided design also compares detailed and practical research.This thesis completed as follows:(1) Using remote traffic microwave sensors collect highway traffic information and other abrupt changes, and use GPRS wireless transmission module - MC35i will these collect to message to fuzzy controller and PC.(2) Design based on fuzzy logic and fuzzy controller algorithm of fuzzy controller analyze the collected, using fuzzy algorithm traffic information that the optimal scheme ramps control this scheme, communicated to the traffic signal command lamp.(3) Use of fuzzy controller MATAL software simulation, sure fuzzy logic algorithm feasible degree.The simulation results show that the fuzzy control used in highway entrance ramp, traffic in certain situation state control effect and change, the robust obviously better than the general control; When the traffic condition, great changes have taken place under fuzzy algorithm of ramp fuzzy controller can also make a highway traffic flow state of running on smoothly.
