In recent years, with the sustainable development of economy, the total electricity rising unceasingly. As a safeguard power supply, more contact of transmission lines, larger point of contact resistance, high point of contact temperature for transmission line operation brought safe hidden trouble. How accurate monitoring contacts temperature, and timely transmission related information for transmission line maintenance personnel to provide key data is an important task before us, is worth deeply research.Temperature monitoring of the transmission line contact point has many kinds of methods.So far,due to the restrictions of technical conditions and economic conditions, various testing methods are hard to application promotion.Combining relevant project research of Shanxi Province Electricity Company, with advanced infrared thermal imaging technology as the foundation realize data acquisition, relying on existing GPRS wireless communication network realization data transmission, the authors designed a set of transmission lines infrared imaging temperature monitoring system. In addition, this system uses computer software system to deal with and analysis infrared thermal imaging. And the framework of this thesis is organized as follows:(1) This paper introduces the entire process of the system research and design in details, Analyses and compares the various temperature monitoring's characteristics and choose the suitable monitoring scheme, finally explain the necessity of this research and analyzed the development of infrared measuring temperature system both at home and abroad;(2) The hardware circuit about the monitoring terminal, including selection of elements, wireless communication, image collection and storage, system clock, watchdog and reset, JTAG interface and power management module have been finished, which provides a reliable hardware for the control program.(3) The whole system are debugged again after the system departmental modules are debugged independently and successfully. Finally, the future research and improving suggestions s are given.Through transmission line on-site operating and testing of power department, the respective technical performance index of the system has met objective requirements.
