With the development of economic, China is increasing with road transport. In the road transport, the Heavy-duty takes account of a large proportion. Because of the complicated road conditions, working in the fully loaded condition and strong vibration, so it's very important to strengthen to protect to the sub-system of the truck and road. Because the air-spring show a good performance, so it's very useful to improve ride comfort and reduce ruin to the road.In terms of theory of multi-body system dynamics and the mechanical system dynamics software ADAMS/Car, the full truck model is built. ADAMS/Insight is applied to improve the performance of guide mechanism.First of all, the key parameter of air-spring is designed, the theory of guide mechanism is analysingd. the method of improving lift angle, dive angle and roll angle is aroused.Second, the suspension model is built, according the parameters is designed. The simulation of jumpping of parallel-wheel is taken. The curves is obtained which response the character of suspension. And then the bad character is optimized, applying DOE method. The last, the model of semi-tractor is built. The simulation with step input is taken. And the parameters which affect handling stability were analyzed. And then the braking performance is simulated.RSM is applied to optimize position of longitudinal rod.Beginning with the design of suspension, the process of design and Optimization is explored and right parameters of suspension is obtained. The Results of Simulation shows this method which comes from theory gets good convergence result in practice. A feasible method that design of suspension is supplied.
