Study Art Space And Function Of City Business Hotel Lobby

The hotel building design is a systematic, highly specialized branch of the architectural design, and the space and function of lobby is the essential component of the space and function of the entire hotel. Space, form, circulation and Sequence of lobby play a vital role to the expression of space art. The design of lobby is important and difficult to hotel building design.Research on the hotel lobby at home and abroad is more, including the hotel lobby features, space attributes, culture and atmosphere and so on. Into the twenty-first century, the hotel lobby was diversified, and there are a lot of good examples. These examples worthy of analysis, research, review and summarize, the conclusion can provide reference for future design of the hotel lobby.In this paper, the current star city business hotel in Beijing is the main object of study hall. I used literature search, field survey methods and project practice to research an analysis the instance of five-star city business hotel;used example analysis and comprehensive induction to compare and summarize the function composition and spatial form of lobby space, and the relationship between them; used the theory of environmental behavior to analysis the psychological needs of people in the lobby space.The paper based on the functional analysis, summarized the contents of the lobby by the entrance hall, lounge, lobby bar, desk, office, commercial, elevator composition or share space; through the analysis of circulation, summed up the type of circulation is divided into central and line forms, and the types of features;through the analysis of public, privacy and areas, summarized behavioral effects and space characteristics;through the analysis of interface, shape, scale, local spatial combination, sequence, summarized the various features of space and laws of the form and human feelings; finally, the above analysis, summarized the three methods of design of the lobby in the form and sequence:shared, complex and flow, Space Spirit need to use the expression of interface, the expression of the form sequence expression and the express of lighting, and future development trend of the lobby: specialization, diversification, human nature and art.
