All things in the nature are the best results of natural biological evolution of millions of years. From the beginning,living creatures have to face the competition with the environment to fend for themselves. Under the innate environmental conditions the physiological structure and function must continue to evolve in order to meet the basic survival needs of hunting and avoiding being hunted. The designing process is the same as biological evolution, and from the initial to the final product it has gone through numerous experiments, tests and corrections in order to achieve perfection. Born in nature, and relying on nature to survive, all human beings regard nature as the source of survival and development. The process of knowing and transforming the world is always accompanied byBionics and simulation of various degrees. Nature contains endless treasures and it offers designers inexhaustible designing materials. The rich biological structure, morphology, biology and a variety of biological phenomena of the creatures in the nature bring human unlimited inspirations during the long practice of human beings, creating a lot of amazing designs. Some biological structures, functions and forms in the nature are almost perfect, and if we fully apply these advantages to human production and life, it would be the nice designing material and wealth.In modern Society, people's taste in material has been greatly improved. And lighting is regarded as something essential to each family. People's needs of lighting tend to diversification and individuality from the initial simple lighting function to a gradual transition of paying more attention to both function and decoration. Bionic design not only enriches the style of lamp shape, but also brings a lot of fun and vitality in a more lovable, more humorous and more friendly way.This paper discussed the bionic design in the use of the lighting design. It starts from mimesis, usability design, green design, emotional design, and other mainstream design ideas and design concepts to analyze the bionic content, and thus leads to biomimetic designing methods and the probable lighting errors. Besides, it analyzes the use of bionic lighting design from the five areas of the Bionic, bionic color, bionic texture, bionic structure and function, combining with the existing lighting design works, so as to analyze, research, sum up the specific methods and key points of the biomimetic lighting design. Finally, the paper puts forward the future development of bionic lamp design, hoping can provide some reference and guidance for the future of the bionic Lamp design.
