Earthquake is a kind of the disaters that happens sudden with releasing huge energy . It usually causes massive damage of engineering services and kills many people which could threatened our life at the sane time bring us immeasurable loss .With the development of the technology , the traditional anti-seismic design can't meet the actual need of buildings with high accuracy instruments such as hospital,factor,communications center. So , people turn their attention to the seismic isolated design which is different from traditional anti-seismic design. Right now, seismic isolated technology is widely used in bridges and buildings all over the world and the seismic isolated theory is more and more maturely .Because China is still in the development stsge at present , many building in rural and pseudo-classic architectures also use traditional method to design building. But these buildings are unable to meet the requirement for seismic resistance when they suffer a severe earthquake,for example , the appalling earthquake measured in Wenchuan Country, Sichuan Province in 2008.The rural buildings and pseudo-classic architectures in Wenchuan are mainly in brick-concrete structure,half-timbered structure,through type timber-frame structure and civil engineering structure which use tradional seismic resistance design. After the Wenchuan earthake ,most of them are dsestoryed or badly damage.The situation bring inestimable loss to people's property and safety. And the rubber isolated bearing or lead-rubber isolated bearing of most building using are general with big volume,high price and weak restoring force .This kind isolate bearing isn't match the requirement of rural buildings and pseudo-classic architectures. So,this paper concider the rural buildings and pseudo-classic architectures as use object ,design a kind of new type rubber isolated bearing which is small volume,cost cheap and strong restoring force.This kind of new type rubber isolated bearing add bar tendon on common rubber isolated bearing enhancing resilience.Based on the mechanics theory of rubber isolated bearing , the paper by using finite element method to simulate the mechnical properties of a new type rubber isolated bearing.The paper analyzed the mechnical properties of a new type rubber isolated bearing in detail. Mainly work inn the following several aspects:1. Seismic isolated structure system have been summaried , including principle of operation, kinds of isolated bearing etc. The development situation that seismic isolated technology at home and abroad have been introduced in briefly, and the paper focused on the mechanics theory of rubber isolated bearings.2. Based on the materials properties of rubber bearings , study on the mechanics foundation theory which scholars at home and abroad have been studied. The theory mainly include vertical compression property and horizontal compression property .Based on the existing theory , the paper summarizes the necessary theory of reach on rubber isolated bearing.3. Based on the existing experimental conditions, experiments about vertical stiffness are tested. The experiments use the rubber isolated bearing.Though the experiments ,we can find the mechanics regular of the isolated rubbering which may prove a basis for the numerical analysis.4. Based on the finite element analysis software (ABAQUS), using three dismensional finite element ,the modal simulate the stress-strain curve of two type rubber isolated bearings under a series of load . The simulation work on the detail of stiffness change under the comibed action of vertical and horizontal stiffness.From the strain-stress curve,it's easy to see that the new type rubber isolated bearing have better restoring force than common. Established the different shape coefficient of ordinary rubber bearing,analyses the mechanical properties with different work conditions.The work items take revelant specification as standard.At the end, summarizes the shape coefficients on the rubber isolated bearing mechanical properties of influence.5 Combining with the structure charactristic of Yan-Qing Temple ,it probes and applies the theory of isolating seidmic wave with modern building.For isolating seidmic wave and preventing water , rubber mat is paved between foudation and 1st floor so we get the isolating earthquake model and reality model.Using finite element analysis software—MIDAS ,it compares and analysises the two models with the earthequake period,the speed,the velocity displacement and the acceleretion under Taft Lincoln School wave.The result shows that rubber mat has obviously asseismatic affection and can effectly avoid the damage of seidmic wave ,prevent the eroding of water to Yan-Qing Temple's main stucture.
