ABSTRACT:This paper based on Installation Art and the design theory of the image thinking, summarizing the characteristics of the device image thinking. The device core of image thinking are "materials, space, emotion".I used above three elements as the starting point that analicized the design of interior space, the modern landscape design, and architectural design's examples which features with image thinking to make discussions. The aim of the discussions is to example and analysis the form of the performance of law from the device core of the image thinking of installation art. At last, summary the positive influence of the image thinking of installation on Environmental Art Design. Expect this paper can bring a useful supplement to the current environment design.
