A Study On The Theories And Application In Modern Garden Stone

With the continuous development of urbanization and the development of society, much higher standards have been placed on the landscape.Playing a very important role in landscap gardening,stone landscape has been paid more and more attention.But there are a lot of problems in practical applications,such as miscellaneous,disorderly.The point is lack of design methods of placing stone.This paper through a large number of documents, historical research, combining the actual study,gains the design methods of stone-placing for modern landscape.On this basis,taking Mount Tai Stone as an example,an investigation of the application of the Mount Tai Stone is made to establish a landscape evaluation model,basing which the actual application of Mount Tai Stone in modern garden art is eveluated and analyzed.Theories:Through studying the development of Chinese traditional stone-placing art,philosophic and aesthetics development and the influence of Chinese landscape painting on the stone-placing art,modern gardening design methods are summarized.That's to elaborate the relationship of selection of stones with all factors,including water,plant,building,roads, terrain,layout,key points,and viewing angles,etc.Applications:Mount Tai Stone as the research object,summarizing the physical properties and ornamental characteristics,by investigating the actual application of Mount Tai Stone in Tai'an gardens and greenbelts,the writer gets the characteristics and application styles of Mount Tai Stone. And on this foundation, evaluation system of Mount Tai Stone landscap is established,which is followed by example analysis.According to the analysis results,problems had been proposed and resolved finally.All these may provide a new direction for the optimal application of Mount Tai Stone landscapes.
