Gear heating assembly is a kind of common method of gear assembly, this method can reduce the difficulty of assembly, protect bearings, improve assembly precision, however, not all of the gears are suitable for heating assembly ways, it requires the heat-resisting of gear and shaft is preferred, the transmission torque of gear and transmission ratio, speed cannot be too big after the assembly. Thermal assembling way is make the gear which has been preheat assemble the gear within hole axis that diameter is more than the gear, this is a common way over surplus assembly. Before assembling we need to heat the gear, the expansion of gear, Diameter growth, the elongation of wheel hub, that can produce assembly conditions.The heating temperature of Gear heating assembly process is decided by the over surplus quantity and heating assembly clearance processing, so the temperature is the important factor which can influence the error of heating assembly, the heating deformation errors is produced by temperature change by many other factors, such as materials, the shape dimension of workpiece etc, its influencing factors is very complicated. Because conventional heating deformation of the error theory and its calculation results was inaccuracy, which cannot satisfy the needs of the modern high precision machining, therefore, an important theory of the heat-working of High precision parts has been provided by the research of hot deformation theory, the new finite element analysis thermal deformation especially applicable to the thermal deformation calculation of complex mechanical form.Analyzing the influential factors of gear error, and considering comprehensively the relationship between the error amount and the influential factors of gear error, the finite element simulation process can do the most realistic assembly, the calculation of gear deviation, analysis of the gear error influence of accuracy, so that it can guide practical production.Experiment is the most practical way to inspect heating deformation errors, but in the process of practical detection, the detecting way was complex, the measuring tools was expensive, the testing time is long, the requirement of environmental detection is high, and these factors will increase the detection difficulty. Perfecting theoretical analysis and simulation analysis are the concise way to solve this topic, but only the simulation results accord with the real situations of gear deformation in actual production, to prove the application of simulation analysis and the feasibility of theory.In the experimental process, in order to measure the most accurate and real data we should use the right way and high precision instrument, experiment was heated in ZJ20K - 6 induction heater, through RAYNGERMX4 infrared heating to determine whether reach the preheated temperature, remove gear placed shaft position, YX41– 63 former preinstalled pressed hydropress provide uniform plane pressure which can pressed into final correction assembly location of gear, on MM3525 gear measurement machine measuring gear deformation data after cooling.This subject is the first stage we finish in the research of heating assembly theory, the practical problems in production as the research direction to research the applicable scope of gear heating assembly, technical theory and modeling analysis theory, and make the foundation for the further research and analysis. The second phase we complete software modeling simulation analysis and experimental measurement, the two parts must be operated simultaneously, all of the simulation analysis need true parameters, based on the above simulation process simulation out the results. The third stage arrangement of the experiment data and the simulation results, contrast analysis, including the four key analysis aspects in the topic, namely diameter deformation error after the gear heating assembly, tooth to deformation error, the influence of temperature on tooth-type deformation error of gear, and the analysis the reality of the application of simulation process and result.
