With the development of society and the progress of mankind, the car is coming into every aspect of our life. The role of cars in our daily life is changing from human vehicles into human good partner, and in this process, a multicolored auto culture have formed. How to provide various services for the car owners has become an important part of the auto culture. Because types of cars and types of users are various, the service content and the emphasis are also different.A perfect car network service platform can not only provide comprehensive services and bring greatly convenient for people's daily life, but also it contributes a lot to our society. The vehicle navigation functions of a good car network service platform can obviously improve the condition of traffic congestion, thus greatly reduce the unnecessary waste of time and resources.At present, the comparatively mature navigation service technology in the market is autonomous navigation technology, and there are no mature center navigation products or perfect terminal systems based on it appear. Relative to autonomous navigation, center navigation has many irreplaceable advantages, such as:easy to map data update, convenient to city integrated traffic management, high efficiency navigation, low cost of car terminal, more value-added services and so on. It will become the new development trend of vehicle navigation service system. The research of our car network service platform is just on the center navigation and value-added services, and hope can fill part of this technology blank.Trusted car network services platform is a computer software platform that provides comprehensive service for the users, and through this platform we can provide users with vehicle safety monitoring, information service, auxiliary driving, center navigation service, integrated service, management of Drive Recorder, team management, remote diagnosis and user-defined personalized service, etc.The main work done in this paper is summarized as follows:1, we have introduced the related technologies which are necessary to the design of the center navigation server, including:map matching principle, socket communication technology, IPv6 and IPv4 protocol conversion technology and so on. we make a detailed technical contrast between the GIS platform,Supermap platform and MapX platform, to decide which platform we should use in our project.2, we have introduced the general framework and design of the credible car network service platform based on IPv6. Also we have make a study on the function requirements of the three core modules:the navigation center server, the client and the car terminal, and divide a practical function module. We make an overview of the communication protocol formulation and analytical of the platform. We put forward a specific strategy on IPv6 and IPv4 conversion.3, Because this project is a function stretching and expanded of the D_Partner service platform, we solve the problem exist in the D_Partner service platform. We make a preliminary study and design of the center navigation module and remote diagnosis module. Through the secondary development of Supermap and combining the related module, we make a research on the key techniques of center navigation:map service and the path planning functions. Meanwhile we make a study on the remote diagnostic module both on the server and the client, and complete a feasible design scheme on the remote diagnostic.4, we make a detailed classification of the communication protocol for automobile service platform, and put forward some efficiency measures to improve the efficiency of the protocol explain.In this article, we have done an exploring study of the design of the center navigation and its value-added services, but the entire network service platform structure is complex and huge. Because of the experimental conditions, we have not make an experiment and test of the whole system, and some solutions have to be tested in practice. There are many details and problems both in software and hardware to apply this design and theoretical to the related products. These are the problems we have to solve in the ongoing work.
