The Research Of Ship Structure Assessment System Based On Database

It is necessary to build the information database for the structure state of service ships, as well as assess the state in time in order to obtain the structure state in detail and ensure its security. However, there is no standard system for the structure state assessment of service ships. Therefore, in this thesis, the structure state assessment system of service ships based on database was specially developed which could build the information database for the structure state, make a set of standard assessment system, assess the structure state in time and feed the results back quickly. The following problems are emphatically investigated.1,With Access 2003 software being used, the database of ship structure information was developed on basis of VBA language, which had a high degree of visualization. The system could be closely linked to FEA software, store and manage the structure information of service ships, as well as reflect the structure state in time.2,The command language PCL was used to develop the structure state assessment database system of service ships. The property of finite element could be updated automatically by transferring data with database, the structure state of renewed model could be duly assessed and the results could also be obtained in time to form a set of standard assessment system.3,The assessment based on rule calculation and the direct calculation could be realized automatically by the system, the detailed assessment results could be supplied as well to reflect the ship structure state and predict the high stress area.4,Some methods for fatigue strength assessment were supplied by the system in order to thoroughly predict and logically prolong the lifespan of service ships, which could also supply referrence for improving the life potential of service ships。5,The structure state of an auxiliary ship and a bulk carrier was assessed by the system discussed above. The assessment results which came from the system were compared and analyzed to verify its accuracy and practicability.
