PWM rectifier is a truly green power electronic conversion device, and a fundamental measure to resolve the problem harmonics. PWM rectifier with the advantages like output voltage adjustable, power factor control, network-side current of the sine, dual energy flow solved the traditional rectifier pairs pollution caused by power grid problems. Meanwhile, PWM rectifier has a feature of a four-quadrant operation, which made it becomes a hot research spot in the field of power electronics technology. Right now, PWM rectifier has been widely used in the static reactive power compensation, active power filter, high-voltage direct current transmission, electrical transmission and renewable energy for power generation because of its variety of advantages.This paper, with three-phase voltage-type PWM rectifier as the research object, described three-phase voltage-type PWM rectifier main circuit topology, analyzed the basic principles of PWM rectifier derived three-phase voltage-type PWM rectifier mathematical model, control strategy, studied the double closed-loop control method of three-phase voltage-type PWM rectifier based on SVPWM, and designed the three-phase voltage-type PWM rectifier controller and the main circuit element parameters.In order to verify the correctness of system design, the simulation model of the main circuit, space voltage vector PWM control module and the PI control regulator were established in this paper using Matlab software. The three-phase voltage-type PWM rectifier simulation of the entire system was carried out. Simulation results showed that the designed system were correct, control strategy were feasible; using the control method presented in this paper, three-phase voltage-type PWM rectifiers achieved a high power factor operation and a two-way flow of energy, which provides the instructive significance to the actual design.In order to verify the actual operation of the system, the hardware system and software system with TI's TMS320F28335 DSP chip for the control of three-phase voltage-type PWM rectifier were designed, and the experimental platform were built in this paper. The actual system debugging was carried out. The results proved that the theory expounded and the system design were correct in this paper.
