Geocell which has strong lateral limits and stiffness, simple construction, convenient transportation and low cost advantage advantages is welcomed by designers .So it has been applied to highways, railways and water conservancy projects, and made encouraging social and economic benefits. But the researches for this new theory of geosynthetics are less mature, so this article selects Geocell object of study, research geocell reinforce foundation engineering behavior problems. By using theoretical analysis, process calculation and numerical simulation methods, research contents and the results are as follows:First of all, for Reinforced by Geosynthetics layer has the characteristics of periodic structures, this article will treat reinforced elastic layer as a homogeneous complex, proposed using gradual homogenization theory to calculat reinforced layer of elastic modulus and Poisson's ratio.Secondly, in order to prove correct and logical of the results which are calculate by asymptotic homogenization theory, this compared the results with measure data which is provided by indoor laboratory. And further linked to the engineering example, by using summation method to calculate the total settlement amount, then compare with the locale settlement. Finally, unit engineering example, using Ansys analyzing geocell layers reinforce foundation. Considering the different Grid layers, lattice room height, elastic modulus reinforced layer and the distance of reinforced layer modulus conditions, the rule of geocell reinforcement effect were studied .The results show that: the deformation decreases with the rise of geocell layers, geocell room height , and that the effects are obvious; reinforced layer modulus certain sphere of influence, the effect of reinforcement will not conspicuous beyond the sphere. With increasing reinforcement spacing, the restrictions of the lateral deformation will be reduced; the effect of reinforcement will weaken.
