With the development of science and technology,the oscilloscopes,as common instruments,have made great progress.With digital technology,the oscilloscopes have become a kind of intelligent instrument with functions:waveform display,parameter measure,detecting,analyze, storage,and so on.The digital storage oscilloscope(DSO) will replace alogOscilloscope.At present,the technology of digital storage oscilloscope is more advanced overseas and occupies the great majority of market.However,domestic DSO products which have our own independent property right are too few,and high price prevents their widly usage.The system discussed in the dissertation has the architecture built with CPU and CPLD (complex programmable logic device) ,and use liquid crystal display(LCD).The structure's most important feature is flexible structure and general usage.It enables designer to develop product within shorter time,and the system Can be expanded easily.The theory and characteristic of DSO are amply introduced,then the ardware-software design frame and thought are given.Signal condition circuit,A/D circuit,time-base circuit and trigger circuit are discussed.Flow chart of system main software is given and how to rebuild the waveform are studied.Function of the whole system is realized by the microcontroller control module as the core control device, all parts of the system hardware and software modules combine the function of their respective. It has small size, light weight, portable, battery-powered, no external AC power supply and so on.
