In recent years, with the development of the urbanization process,the congestion has become one of the seriously urban sickness.Traffic problems produce a great effect on the operation efficiency of urban economic construction and social development,and can bring a seriously inconvenience and damage to people. In the case that the traffic resources are limited,making analysis and optimization of urban traffic networks are the essential way of enhancing the efficiency of traffic resource and relieving the urgent situation of urban traffic to large extent.Urban traffic networks are typical,open,complex and huge systems.In order to optimize and improve the urban traffic networks,the topological structure of the urban traffic network of Nanchang is studied,which is based on the theory of complex network.First,the study chooses' indexes about traffic lines and stations to analysis and evaluate Nanchang's traffic network.we find that there are some problems in the traffic network,for example,the traffic line length is too long on the whole and the network density is low relatively; the repetition coefficient is different in spatial distribution; the indexes of non-linear coefficient is too large in part lines.This situation can not satisfy the demand to resident transportation,so can exist the possibility of optimization.Then,the author selects Nanchang's 114 traffic lines and sets up three network models based on the C-space,the L-space and the P-space methods,and calculates the basic statistical indicators.Empirical studies have shown that the C-space and P-space networks have the small-world property,but the C-space network has neither exponential nor power-law distribution,P-space network has the exponential character.L-space network has no small-world phenomena,but obeys the scale-free distribution.Finally,we give the optimization of Nanchang traffic network.First,by studying the robustness of Nanchang traffic networks, we validate that the L-space network has character of robustness to random failure and frangibility to attack. In succession,analysis the efficiency of the network,and the result indicates that the network has low efficiency. So we build the traffic network structure with strong clusters in combination with the consideration of the optimization goal.The results show that by adjusting the traffic lines,the network can be improved to reach the demand of the specification,and has smaller path length,larger traffic density,the better repetition coefficient and non-linear coefficient.Therefore,the optimized traffic network is more convenient for the residents than before.
