With the development of the economy of China and great improvement of the standard of the Chinese living, the numbers of automobiles and the construction of highways grow fast.Meanwhile, the road accidents especially the malignant ones increase at a rapid rate.In the worldwide, the traffic accidents are becoming a great trouble to the transportation of the earth.The methods of the reduction of the traffic accidents is the most important task of every nation, so it gets the great attention of the worldwide countries.The road traffic system includes three important factors, the human beings, the automobiles and the road conditions, every factor has a different influence on the traffic safety. As the decision maker and implement part, the action of the drivers is the most important factor of the traffic safety. Analysing the cause of the traffic accidents, the subjective reasons is the biggest part to them, the bad driving behavior also contributes a lot to the traffic accidents.The accurate conclusion and recognition, the extraction of the bad driving behavior is the key to the algorithms.Aaccording to the data collected from the system, the risk of the bad driving behavior can be evaluated. By the application of the hardwares and the evaluations, the frequency of the bad driving behavior can be reduced, so as the traffic accident rates.This study selects the representative and typical bad driving behavior from everyday driving. By the analysis of the implement time and feature of the implementation process, the algorithms can be divided into the gear class, steering-wheel class, the hand-motion class, the acceleration class, the parking class.The recognizing method can be achieved by the combination of the four classes.This study bases on the prototype car of the National Road Safety Project.By the setting of the sensors that can check and measure the status of the automobile and the driving behavior of the drivers, the signals can be transmitted to the information-collecting board through the wire and wireless divices. The main controlling board saves the sensor information as the arrays of data. According to the algorithms, Ten kinds of the bad driving behaviors can be recognized, and triggers the voice-alarm devices.lt can remind the drivers of their driving behaviors.The data collected from the system can be used to evaluate the risk of the bad driving behavior by Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation method.The application of the divice and the risk evaluation can be used to help drivers to manipulate the vehicles correctly and keep the bad driving behaviors away.
