ACS (Automatic Clutch System) is improvement based on the traditional dry clutch which abolish the traditional clutch pedal, clutch automatically controlled, in this case, the driver can reduce labor intensity and at the same time, the clutch's isolated action is in the optimization, therefore, it improves the car's power performance and fuel economy. The system uses electric-driven, compared to other forms of drive, it has a simple structure, high precision and low cost advantages, which is particularly suitable for mini vehicles.The control quality of clutch depends on its control strategy; the control strategy directly affects the car's driving conditions and shift quality. Therefore, this article introduces the system model of the clutch; confirm two performance evaluations in the clutch engagement process, that are starting jerk and friction work. The clutch engagement in the process of bonding capacity and bond rate are as the control variable to achieve a'fast-slow-fast'engagement control law. Use Constant engine speed control strategy as the basis for engagement rules, use the fuzzy control strategy as a concrete realization based on the same time, the bonding rate to be collected to determine the signal, these provide a theoretical basis for the control system.This article includes two part, first, the design of automatic clutch actuator, according to the characteristics of the diaphragm spring and mini vehicles, select the DC-motor as the power source, the driver type chooses the form of screw drive, DC-motor driven screw is specifically rotation, through the Deputy to the spiral motion nuts, nut-side with the clutch cable is connected, so that the motor's rotation into linear motion of cable to control the clutch separation and bonding. In order to verify the reliability of body while saving development costs, the use of Matlab/ Simulink model implementing agencies to establish and conduct a dynamic simulation. Second, the automatic clutch start the preparation and implementation of control strategies, at first, analysis of the dynamic characteristics of the clutch engagement process, on this basis, the impact of factors determine the starting clutch as the basis for control strategy, the fuzzy control law designed for bonding, while design the fuzzy controller to control the clutch speed, in Matlab/Simulink under this strategy was designed, according to the different conditions, simulate the driver's operation, simulation results show that this theory is feasible, but also provide a theoretical basis for the development of the control system.
