Dual Clutch Transmission(DCT)has attracted widely concerns as a result of its shifting without power interruption,it has aroused a DCT research boom within the industry because many major domestic and foreign manufacturers launched new DCT products while various research institutes are improving the related technology as well at present.But the manufacturer and study situation of DCT in our country is behind international advanced level,it's a critical mission for our country to develop DCT with proprietary intellectual property rights.Dry DCT is chosen as the research object in this paper,the main contents are as follows to improve the starting performance:(1)Chapter 1 classified common automatic transmissions according to their structure feature,introduced the history and future technology of automatic transmission,what's more,this chapter also gave an overview of structure principle as well as the domestic and foreign research status of automatic transmission;summarizes the research situation of DCT starting control technology from 4 aspects based on related literatures.(2)Chapter 2 introduced the basic structure of DCT in details and the layout arrangement of dual clutches,and then chose the dry clutch as the research object based on comparison of dry and wet clutches;analyzed the working process of dual clutch and synchronizer in DCT starting and shifting phrases;introduced the basic structure and operating principle of DCT control system.(3)Chapter 3 give a brief description of the DCT starting control strategy research approach based on mathematical models,and built models of the engine,clutch,vehicle and the hydraulic control system,then transferred them into simulation models in using of Matlab/Simulink software.(4)Chapter 4 divided the clutch engagement process into 4 phrases,and put the sliding phrase as the control object,then put forward the conception and evaluation index of starting performance;analyzed the process and difficulty in the development of starting control system,which laid the foundation for the control strategy development.(5)In chapter 5,the aforementioned 4 phrases were merged into oil charging phrase and sliding phrase to simplify the control process,and fuzzy inference strategy were developed for the latter phrase,which have 2 input variables,one is the speed difference of the master and slave disc,the other is the rate of the speed difference,and the output variable is the engagement pressure of dual clutches,then the target pressure of oil charging phrase is formulated according to the output of the inference system;to accomplish the execution of the strategy effectively,a PID controller is developed to make the hydraulic control system trace the target pressure of these 2 phrases accurately.(6)The effectiveness of the fuzzy inference strategy was verified in chapter 6 by vehicle launching simulation under fixed throttle openings,based on that,the strategy has been amended using dynamic fuzzy factors,and then the newly obtained fuzzy inference strategy was verified as well by vehicle launching simulation under variable throttle openings.In addition,the simulation result also prove that,with the help of the proposed method,not only the excellent starting performance under variable throttle openings can be assured but also different driver starting intentions can be recognized preliminarily.
