With the rapid development of technology and continuous improvement of people's living standard, the demand for large-scale gymnasiums grow stronger day by day. And people require more demand to the design of sound。Today large-scale gymnasiums does'nt only meet the needs of sports tournament and physical training,it also should meet the need of holding large-scale entertainment performances and papillary conversations and so on. However, we often get poor sound resulting from flutter echoes,focused reflections, multiple echoes, and too long reverberation time resulting from too voluminous competing—hall,so its audience are not satisfied with the audio-visual feeling.In order to improve the sound quality of large-scale gymnasium, greatly shorten the reverberation time, overcome the tone defects, this paper puts forward some specific sound systems from two aspects of the architecture acoustic design and sound amplification acoustics design,and based on the design of taizhou HongJia school gym'original architecture,made some changes to the sound system on the architecture acoustic reform and sound amplification acoustics design, which brought a big improvement. My main work and achievement is as follows:This paper discourses the design of sound system from two aspects:one is the architectural acoustics design, mainly considering gymnasium building structure, shape, sound-absorbing material selection and arrangement. It is mainly to solve the acoustic field distribution uniformity, avoid various acoustic defects, shorten reverberation time of full venue, in order to construct a sufficient clarity, evenness and loudness of field. The other is sound amplification acoustics design, it must be based on the architectural acoustics design. Eventually it makes sports venues to suittable loudness,clear voice and beautiful timbre by constituting system, choosing audio equipments, and layouting various loudspeakers. Only fully consider the architectural acoustics design and sound amplification acoustics design and make both to irrational unification, can get satisfactory effect of timbre. The architectural acoustics design mainly consider the sound absorption of full gym, reduce the reverberation time in full to exchange clear language articulation and avoid appearring the acoustic defects such as trembling echo,focused reflections from auditorium and venues,. Its role is to control the reverberation time of the hall and prevent possible defects,make sure the language clear enough. Long reverberation time will make the language articulation reduced and it hasthe quantitative relationship with total volume,total absorption quantity of the hall,the sound levels and the frequency characteristics. Because the stadium in the game hall has fewer sound-absorbing places, especially side wall was taken up by the stands and lateral windows, so we must select the sound-absorbing materials and structures which are equipped with more sound-absorbing performance.In the sound amplification acoustics design, we must be sure sound quality directional and clear, it is the main factors to ensure the game hall have acoustic field distribution uniformity, enough level and clear tone. It contains three parts:general requirement of the system design, equipment selection of the system and configuration (including the subsystem:speech, perform, broadcasting amplification) and the acoustical design of the control room.This paper introduces the technical parameters of amplification systems about the loudness, gain,stability, sound quality and direction which influence amplification systems. It shows a good sound amplification system needs a sound field for accurate sound field coverage, centralized energy, reducing unnecessary reflection of the sound; providing sound pressure to the coverages; excellent sound quality during playback; being sure clarity of the sound. And it also enumerates the combinations and selections of speakers. The number and output power of power amplifier should be put to match the sound module and leave a certain dynamic headroom to avoid clipping to put the protection of the sound module and the other back-up unit should be deployed. Secondly, resistance and frequency matching must be made between the amplifier and speakers. In the evaluation of the effectiveness of the system, the most prominent problem is the reverberation time, usually can be expressed as T60 or RT60. The representative measured of the RT60 is to select 125Hz,250Hz,500Hz,1kHz,2kHz and 4kHz as the center of the six-band frequency measurements, and then take their places as the average reverberation time.Based on consulting a large number of acoustic data,and combining the sound system design case of HongJia high school gymnasium in Taizhou,this article pointed out practical significance of the large stadium in Taizhou, the three lines of small cities, and discussed Architectural acoustic design from the purposes of the architecture acoustic design, requirements and treatments and so on. The sound reinforcement design disused mainly from the selection of schemes, simulation model design, configuration of sound reinforcement equipment, parameter measurement, etc. and results were evaluated. Practice has proved that the design of the scheme the author put forward is feasible, and complete the established goals and personalities.Luckily,I had taken part in the job of construction,design and evaluation of sound system,and had accumulated certain experience. In this paper, the author explain the stadium's architectural acoustics and sound reinforcement and audio space, as well as other related issues such as how we can make the best sound clarity, based on the practical experience. And also discuss the evaluation of the sound system effect.
