The Investigation And Research On Plant Landscape In Urban Park Of Chang Sha In Winter

Garden plants landscape is the continuum in time and space, and plants will show four different seasonal landscapes with the change of seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter. However, people normally pay more attention to the construction of plants landscape in spring and summer; the performance and design of the winter plants landscape are overlooked and the study on the city garden plant landscape in winter,which is assumed as public greens, is extremely rare. It is a topic worth exploring that how to create a rich landscape plants in winter for visitors.The research platform in the article is urban park. It studies deeply the physiological and psychological human needs under the winter environment, and sums up the features of demands in the winter garden activities:needs of sunlight, festival culture influence, the need to purify the emotions motivation and training of the will and character in the cold climate. At the same time, this article also analyzes fully the viewing characteristics of winter plants landscape from individual plant, visual patterns and aesthetic mechanisms. This article investigates the plants types and landscape layout in the functional areas of seven gardens, Changsha City, suiting for winter viewing, and analyzes visitors' needs and preferences for the plants landscapes in the winter city garden through acts of observation and the questionnaire. The conclusion drew from above is:the flow of winter recreation has obvious directivity; people focus on the sites of leeward and facing the sun, and that of better view; the gardens chose by the visitors in the winter should be higher view features and functions than that in other seasons.Combining with the theoretical research and the analysis of practical investigations, this article puts forward the construction principles and methods of the winter plants landscape in the urban parks. Regarding to the dull winter landscape monotonous and different psychological needs of visitors for the functional areas in the urban park, creates the winter landscape effect with different atmosphere according to the three stages in winter: the end of autumn and the beginning of winter, late winter, the end of winter and the beginning of spring. Puts forward the method of winter plant landscape for the functional areas in the urban pars aiming at the visitors' pleasance minds; grasps the plants color, the use of the space and quality in the winter environment, focus on the design of small area climate and build the windbreak and facing-sun small environment according to the different plants.
