The development of intelligent construction is the product of the building technology and the information technology, is the vanguard technology swift development result of the electronic technology, communication, networking, computer technology, automatic control technology, sensing technology and others. It develops and enrich gradually along with science and technology progress. With the rapid expand of intelligent construction, comfortable and energy conservation have become the trend of intelligent construction. As the remarkable energy conservation effect , VAV system can save air blower's energy consumption, operate flexible, at the same time , renovate and expanse easily. So that it should be more applications in China.VAV system is developed for the purpose of energy saving ,its design is based on hourly load. This system could distribute regularly according to the need of the air supply to the regions, or the need of cool capacity and heat capacity. The total blast quantity is maximum value of the all region request amount of wind in various time intervals. The VAV system could reduce total blast quantity and the installed capacity remarkable, so that it could conserve energy and reduce investment. Pressure irrelevant terminal system own the highly effective adjustment method and the more conserves energy potential , so that it has become the hot pot in recent VAV system research. Pressure irrelevant terminal system see the temperature control as the main control object and amount of wind control as vice, the main control way is cascade control.The PID control principle is simple, the robustness is good, the reliability is high, which is common method until now, and its control effect is decided by the controller parameter value. And now, the PID controller's parameter installation and the optimization have become an important research subject, is widely used in the industrial control domain. In recent years, PSO has been widespread as one kind of global optimization algorithm. But the pure PSO has precocious restraining the question which is insufficient by the partial search ability, so that in the practical application it must make the improvement to the algorithm. In this article, I improve the basic PSO with the inertia weight, carry on the simulation experiment of PSO-PID and inertia weight PSO-PID at the base of modeling the VAV terminal system, and compare with the results. The result improves that this controller can effectively control the return route perturbation.
