Along with the rapid development of power network, to ensure the safe and economic operation, all sorts of computer technology and communication technology as the foundation of automation equipment is widely used in the electric power system. These devices can work normally is base on the clock time synchronization benchmark. In recent years, power network fault becomes more and more complex. Especially involving multiple grid node fault accident analysis, often exposed the clock time synchronization problem of equipment, which brings difficulty to analyse accidents objectively, and even seriously influence the correctness of the results. Out-of-step in the clock synchronization equipment of substation, causing automation SOE alarm time error, which can not do analysis and comparison about data based on a unified clock. At present, in the power plant and the transformer substation, it is lack of necessary means to monitor the clock equipment. With development of the power grid, which is developing highly automated, security and reliability of power supply,it is required urgently on real-time monitoring technology for synchronization of clock equipment in the power automation syterm.From factors influence the satellite clock system, Such as the input source of GPS, clock system delegated accuracy, receiving module and so on, The author cayrry out in-depth study and application including detection and monitoring principle of satellite second anomaly, etc, and have a number of innovative research results.1. According to performance and parameters of the different satellite clock system, leads to the research and development of mult-input and seamless switching satellite clock device which based on the modularization of GPS, CNSS and ground third-party source of time.2. Discuss and study the satellite second anomaly and monitoring principle, and finished the monitor of second disturbance which based on difference between GPS and CNSS of double source satellite clock.3. Select the most stable second signal by filtering mult-input, compared with the the atomic clock, which performance a core timing circuit, then output all kinds of adjusting time signals by expansion unit.4.With multi-source satellite synchronous clock as the center, to start the research and test of time synchronization network found on PTP protocol,and finally achieved the fuction that is data collecting,processing,summarizing,statistical analysis, which accomplish the remote time system monitor of precision,running state,etc. Also it has the function of alarm, and switch to another clock source when it is necessary.
