The power of machine in textile is very comprehensive and consume much water and electricity, it can consume 15%~25% electricity of whole factory production,it's very important for reducing the cost of textile mill's. Aims at high consume energy consuming of textile air-condition and current situation of indirect evaporative cooler,this paper develops the folded plate indirect evaporative cooler specially for textile air-condition on absorbing advanced technical at home and abroad extensively. Research on the main factor of affect the folded plate indirect evaporative cooler performance by orthogonal experiment, then the paper ascertains the rule how the prominent factors influence the effect of heat exchanging by single factor experiment.At first, the paper design the folded plate indirect evaporative cooler and collate it, then through theoretical analysis and calculation, select the type of main equipment and build test-bed of testing the effect of heat exchanging, researched on effect of folded plate indirect evaporative cooler, analysis the relationship of elements with effect of heat exchanging. Later, makes certain the prominent affecting factors to the folded plate indirect evaporative cooler by orthogonal experiment. By range analysis method, the paper got that primary wind velocity have prominent effect to the effect of heat exchanging , while the effect of the second wind velocity and the spraying interval is small. Finally, the paper ascertains how the prominent factors influence the effect of heat exchanging by single factor experiment and got such solutions: when other situations don't change, the best number of primary wind velocity and second wind velocity are 2.5 m/s , it should be better to use continuous water spray, the volume of water spray should be moderate.The experiment results show when the primary air velocity is 2.5 m/s, the second air velocity is 2.5 m/s , the primary air temperature is 32℃, the second air wet temperature is 28.5℃,the heat exchanging of folded plate indirect evaporative cooler have achieved 32%, when the primary air temperature is 38℃, the heat exchanging of folded plate indirect evaporative cooler have achieved 40% .it has vast prospect for the folded plate indirect evaporative cooler to use it in textile air-condition directly or make it combine with mechanical cooling.
