Community Landscape Transformation And Design Research

Living is the basic survival need and the most important life structure and behavior content for human. With the rapid development of our national economy and the speeding up of our urban construction, people's requirements for living environment have also increased. Residential building takes a large ratio in the city building, during the urbanization process of China, an annual increase of residential accounts for more than 70% of the urban house increment, while residential investment accounts for about 30% of the urban construction investment. The new residential area have sprouted emerging, and because the landscape environment has absorbed residential real estate developers and residents' attention, environment landscape in residential area gradually played an important role. People realize the significance of improving the environment and the quality of life, and living quality of human care and attention have been classified as one of the important principles of residential environment construction. Landscape system, as one of the important factors, reflects living quality, whose design has also got more and more people's attention, which creates broader space for landscape design for landscape architects. Meanwhile, built in the 1980s, the previous residential environment cannot satisfy the demand of modern life for people any more. Therefore, the old residential environment landscape transformation has already been the necessary means to compensate its recession of structure and function will bring on the urban environment's ecological, image and living comfort in the process of future urban development.Residential construction not only affects the overall style, reflecting the city urban development process, but the landscape is the main component of urban landscape. In the current urban planning system, the regional land properties and index control are well executed, but in residential landscape only greenland index is in planning control, without specific measures, more completed by each incidental residential project, which has lead to the isolation of the community landscape in the urban landscape system. Besides, many residential landscape design and planning disjointed with architectural design, mostly, it's after the forming of housing dimension that to make another form of landscape design, which results in paying a lot of attention on visual image , representation, the beauty of composition and rich layouts, while little on ecological functions of the residential landscape, but less on considering the relationship of residential landscape and urban overall landscape.This paper analyses common existing problems of the current landscape design in residential area, and puts forward the principles and the feasible suggestions of the future community landscape design and transformation to be followed and optimized.
