With the application of power electronics devices are becoming increasingly wide, resulting in increase of electricity load, some impact, non-linear load makes the voltage waveform in electric network distort, voltage fluctuate, flash and harmonic wave increase and so on. These problems occur from time to time. Besides, the electric network suffers serious contamination, with the sophisticated and complex electronic equipment widely used, the requirement of power quality has become higher and higher. Thus how to improve the quality of power is an important topic the power companies face, and real-time monitoring of power is an important component to increase and improve the power quality.This paper, based on the analyzes of quality monitoring system in domestic and international countries, combination of development status of power quality monitoring device in our country, is to design the systems of power quality monitoring and data storage systems on the basis of CAN-bus. The TMS320F2812 as the core monitoring system is to realize the real-time monitoring of three-phase voltage, phase current at the same time, and completed the data transmission platform based on CAN-bus and high-capacity data storage. Specifically as follows:(1) Describes the development situation and research status of Power Quality monitoring device home and broad, and analysis the advantages and disadvantages of power quality monitoring devices appeared at present and the possible factors that cause pollution to the power network.(2) Design the overall plan of power quality monitoring system. Besides, each module involved in the whole of program has experienced the preliminary design and repeated experiments for the final realization of each module.(3) Design the system hardware. The main board is mainly to complete data collection, processing and transmission, and main chip choose the TMS320F2812 of TI companies. Based on F2812 rich peripheral interfaces, design the interface circuit of memory chip and communication circuit of CAN-bus date. AD conversion chip ADS8364 as the core of the data collection, design the filtering, amplification, phase-locked frequency doubling and other circuits. Auxiliary board is to complete data storage, and save all real-time data into expansive high-capacity mobile hard disk.(4) The system software design complete the design of main course of system and design of subroutine flow chart of each part is function, and complete the code of each function module with C language. Herein, the application of interrupting technology and hardware locked frequency multiplier is minimize the running time of DSP main program, as much as possible. (5) The paper has completed the each test of prototype of a machine. Results show that the power quality monitoring based on the CAN-bus and data storage systems meet the requirements of design, and pave a good way to development of higher-quality power quality monitoring system.
