Steel structure has the superior structural in lighter structure and more attractive appearance, especially in the less using steel, at the same time, which also creates an excellent visual effect to us. The steel structure is of special features especially in the roof with large-span building, that is the reason why which is used in wider field in domestic and international.Compared to the previous circular steel, the square steel has outstanding qualities, with more streamlined process in joint cutting, less cost and advantages over some circular ones. Square steel, if later in production and application compared with circular steel, is focused and used wider and wider at home. The paper based on large-scale software ANSYS introduces an engineering example of a station roof in Shanxi Province with the two kinds of welding space rectangle joint. Through solid model, theoretical analysis to above joints, and discuss these two nodes on the security and rationality, the test results could support data to the indoor node test subsequently to a certain degree, at the same time, the results of theoretical analysis are also the theories needing observed by test. In addition, in this thesis, the indoor loading device is discussed and designed, which supporting necessary guarantees to test smoothly.Joint also called direct welding node shows a number of advantages such as higher equipment accuracy, less welding deformation, stronger bearing capacity and less using steel. Because of the link's quantities and position free in joint area, the interactive relationship among steels with space node makes stress relief more complex, which is why it couldn't set calculated ways about the steel structure design specifications.
