Recent years, with the slogan of sinicization advocated designs calls for more and more high, more and more designers also begin to pay close attention to the study of Chinese traditional culture with Chinese style, the design works it is endless. This is because most designers, just on the surface of the design, understanding that Chinese style in products as stack some traditional cultural symbols, represents endow products Chinese style, and not from a theory foundation research, which symbols, thinking I can use, and how these symbols and should be used, I think through the application of these symbols to users send a what kind of information.So the traditional culture and the modern design combination is not a simple matter, if not consider traditional symbols and products, just contact blindly "label" type of application technique, inevitable will not receive the good effect, this paper is want from the Angle of product semantics for traditional culture, the specific application in product design methods and practice in theory provide a research basis, to expect Chinese traditional culture in the designer is the basis of roots, deep reflect on the basis of traditional culture essence, to create the design works with the features of The Times.
