As an important part of the designation of rail transit, the train Car-Set of urban rail transit has been the focus and hot topic currently. If the train car-set is too large, it will increase the scale of civil engineering and increase the project investment. At present, there isn't a systematic way to determine how much of a rail transit lines require reasonable car-set. So there is great theoretical and practical significance to optimizat the train Car-Set of urban rail transit.After analysis the impaction of the train car-set of urban rail transit, based on the selected model of vehicles, the paper built optimization mode. Nowadays, the method to how to select vehicles of urban rail transit is mostly qualitative. The paper will use a combination of qualitative and quantitative method, and it is the first time to use AHP to select vehicles of urban rail transit. Optimization model, is mainly from points of view of energy conservation, rational use of resources and services to the passengers, then built three objective functions:â… , the best match of transport capacity and the volume;â…¡, firms maximize profits;â…¢, ensure passenger comfort.Finally, according to the forecas passenger volume of Beijing Subway Line 5, the paper uses the optimization model to optimize its train car-set, obtained optimal solutions is Model B of vehicles and 6 cars-set. Compared with the actual situation, the paper analysiss the existing problems of Line 5 and makes recommendations:1, Morning peak period, in order to meet the requirements of transport capacity in the range of conditions permitting, it can shorten the interval time to 2 minutes; 2, In addition to other periods which is not peak periods, setting the right interval time, for example, it can make flat peak traffic hours 4 minutes increase to 5.5 minutes.
