Nowadays, lots of studies on structural optimization of shield tunnel segment have been done. However, on the basis of the numerical simulation, it is rare to study the optimization design of the steel bar by establishing separate model of reinforced concrete. It can intuitively reflect the mechanical behavior of steel bar, which comes up with very original technical thought and a strong theoretical point for the steel bar optimization. In this paper, taking the background of the interval from Bin He Lu station to San Yuan Cun station of the Su Zhou No.l subway, the reasonableness and the method of the steel bar optimization are deeply researched. The following optimization is referred, and some useful conclusions are presented. This paper concludes several aspects as follows:(1) Study the applicability of shield tunnel segment's structural design method and select the uniform ring model as the theoretical basis.(2) Research part of the city's reinforcement scheme of shield tunnel segment and stay out the object of the steel bar optimization.(3) Establish separate model of reinforced concrete, simulate the behavior of the steel bar by the ABAQUS software, and then do a comparative study between the original design and the optimization program, at last make extreme analysis on multi-loop segment.(4) The optimization of distributed reinforcement is proved not only to meet the structural design requirements, but also to make the behavior of steel bar is more reasonable.(5) Vertical behavior of shield tunnel has a great influence on the distributed reinforcement by the comparative analysis.(6) Lateral longitudinal reinforcement and some stirrup are the goal of the following optimization.
