| ABSTRACT:With large-scale construction of the railway, and many high-speed rail, intercity rail passenger line put into use, the Beijing Railway Station and Beijing West Railway Station. Beijing South Railway Station, Beijing North station. The hub of the convergence of urban public transport, providing passengers with a convenient transfer services to promote the development of surrounding areas of great significance. Due to historical reasons and institutional constraints, some of Passenger Railway do not match public transport system and rail transit systems; number of railway passenger road design is unreasonable, resulting in traffic and passenger confusion as well as other problems. These issues must be resolved. This paper combination the actual research work of "Beijing Urban Railway Passenger and public transport system interface simulation optimization", a mentor program hosted by Beijing Municipal Education Commission, the program issues targeted at the Beijing West Railway Station, to simulate the passengers transfer of West Railway Station. In the circumstances of maximum use of existing stations'internal and external resources, roads, resources, economic resources, optimized both inside and outside of the existing roads of the Beijing West Railway Station and facilities, proposed a reasonable improvement program. In this paper, using ED-PLATO software to establish the simulation model, through simulation of outbound passengers and found that the bottleneck in the taxi transfer stops. Further analysis shows that the crowd reached by taxi and taxis to reach double flow factors, that can suggest improvements in two ways. This article continues to discuss the arrival rate of passengers and taxi. Found that when significant peak appears of passenger, or taxis arrival rate can adapt to the taxi ride, would drop significantly alleviate congestion stations, and the bus waiting time would fall too. Finally, this paper imagined after the opening of Beijing West Railway Station subway, the Metro will share most of the passenger, and the taxi congestion will be effectively addressed. |
