Analysis On Traffic Transfer Mode At Beijing West Railway Station

ABSTRACT:The planning, designing and construction of the urban railway is the responsibility of railway department, however, the outside area of urban railway is designed by government in Beijing. So it's inevitable to bring out some problems, such as inefficient transfer system.Firstly, development and theory of transfer system have been summarized. During summarizing the development, some advanced transfer systems, such as New York, Moscow, Tokyo have been concluded; the theory have been concluded in macro, meso and micro the three levels.Secondly, based on the theory of transport transfer, combined with research results, the present situation and the need of transfer have been analyzed. Different transport modes have different character of transfer, and the influence factors of choosing transfer modes have been concluded.Thirdly, based on the theory of forecast, the amount of transfer passengers have been forecast, and get the share rate of each transport modes. The total amount is forecast by the multivariate linear models and the share rate is forecast by MNL models.Finally, based on system optimization, some advices have been put forward to improve the transfer system of Beijing west station. The theory is summarized in space layout and streamline organization the two aspects. Combined with the practical situation, the transfer system has been analyzed in outbound streamline, facilities ability and space layout the three aspects.
