The high-speed Beijing-Tianjin intercity railway opening which maximum operating speed is 350km/h is not only another milestone in the history of Chinese railway, but also the initiation of the world's railway history. Such a high operating speed will lead to many new research topics, the wear problem of vehicle sustained to operate under high-speed is one of the important direction. With the growth of operational mileage, wheel wear is growing, therefore to work out the wheelset cutting repair cycle which is suitable for the characteristics of China's high-speed EMU (Electric Multiple Unit) wheel/rail matching is particularly urgent. It is related to vehicle operating safety, riding comfort and using economic. In this thesis, CRH3 high-speed EMU in Beijing-Tianjin intercity railway is chosen as the research object. Dynamic performance of vehicle and wheel profile is tracking tested in a long-term, and database system is established for statistical analysis of test data. Take calculation and analysis on the vehicle's lateral stability, running quality, stability indices and wear of the wheel shape on the base of database, which is to research the variation rules of wheel wear under the different running mileage and the influence on vehicle dynamic performance. Vehicle system dynamic model is built using ADAMS/Rail software, the dynamic parameters as the same of CRH3 EMU, the wheel profile model using the date from tracking test, and the simulation and test results are compared. Using the software to simulate the stability indices such as derailment quotient and wheel unloading rate which the test is difficult to obtain. Combining the calculation of the test data and the simulation, to research the wheel wear on the impact of the equivalent conicity and calculate the critical speed of vehicle under different wear levels and equivalent conicity. Comprehensive comparison the test and the simulation results, then put forward the wheelset cutting repair cycle of CRH3 EMU in the high-speed Beijing-Tianjin intercity railway, in order to guide service of high-speed EMU.
