Electrostatic technology is a new important technique of velocity measurement of gas/solid two-phase flow, which has developed rapidly in recent years. It is based on electrostatic charge induction principle. It has many advantages such as simple structure, high sensitivity, low price, etc. And it is able to measure the parameters of gas/solid two-phase flow without interference, has the advantages in repeatability, reliability and low cost, etc. Electrostatic sensor, combined with cross-correlation technology provides a good solution for the velocity measurement of gas/solid two-phase flow, but there are still many contents worthy of further study in this area.In this paper, the current situation of gas/solid two-phase flow parameters measu-ring is analysed, a new type of electrostatic sensor based on the principle of electrosta-tic induction is proposed; the size of sensor sensitive area is simulated by COMSOL Multiphysics and the distribution of induced charge is analyzed, the structure and size are designed.According to induced charge, the signal conditioning circuit is designed, include-ing charge amplifier, rectifier, filtering, etc. The circuit performance is simulated by Multisim simulation software, and the effect of each element on the circuit is analyzed.Based on the requirement of real-time, the real-time data acquisition and display system is established based on ARM micro controller. In the development environment for the programming IAR, the real-time data acquisition and cross-correlation operations of two channels signals are achieved, finally the value of particle velocity is displayed on LCD.A simulation experiment device is built and simulative experiments are studied. The new type of electrostatic sensor is proved to be feasible, and error analysis of the laboratory results is done.
