Construction elevator is the important component of Super-tall building construction vertical transportation system. The security of construction elevators' transportation will directly influences the normal work on construction site. It is even especially important after the demolition of tower cranes, because vast amounts of structure decoration materials, M&e installation materials and constructors will rely on the construction elevator to go up and down. The supporting system of construction elevator is the main bearing structure in the using process of construction elevator, which also is the largest proportion of the whole construction elevator in the cost ratio. Its structure and material play a leading role in whether the design of the whole is successful or not. However, nowadays there is still no standard about construction elevator in support system. The style of the structure is also relatively one fold. In especial, the traditional super-tall external construction elevator occupies fairly large space of the building facade, influences comparatively in the construction of curtain wall and structure and takes relatively long time to close the openings site of the curtain wall after construction elevator is dismantled, which has caused adverse effects on the construction progress of the follow-up process.Basing on the practical engineering, I write the paper, research on a new-type supporting system of construction elevator---- the channel tower, use large-scale general finite element software--- MIDAS/GEN to make modeling analysis on the channel tower and study further about the stability of the channel tower. This paper mainly contains the following several aspects:Firstly, introduce several related concepts of the construction elevator and its supporting system, review comprehensively on the domestics and foreign study situations of the supporting system of the construction elevator and point out the research development trend of the supporting system of the construction elevator.Secondly, based on the existing research results, calculate and analyze the load of the supporting system of the construction elevator.Thirdly, for there are so many corrupt practices in the supporting system of the traditional construction elevator, I make structure analysis and theoretical derivation about the new-type supporting system. By comparison, I summarize the superiority of the new-type supporting system to the traditional one.Fourthly, basing on practical engineering examples, I use software to make detail modeling analysis on the channel tower and its basis; do further research on its stability as well.Finally, on the basis of the summary of the work during writing the paper, I put forward some urgent problems we need to solve and possible research directions we can do in the future.
