From January 2010 to June 2010, there were 99,282 road traffic accidents, in which 27,270 peoples were killed and 116,982 injured, the directly loss of China had reached 41 million Yuan. With the development of society, most ordinary people can buy the car,, "Auto era" has quietly come. Meanwhile, the traffic accident has become the focus of attention. As we all know, there are several types of collision in driving, front impact, side impact, angled impact, rear-end impact and roll etc. Overseas studies showed that front impact accounted for over 50 percent, and most occupant people had been injured or killed in this impact.In order to reduce the accidental injuries, we need to use occupant restraint system properly. Studies have shown that proper use of car occupant restraint system can provide effective protection. Nowadays, people have realized the importance of the system and begun to do some research about it. Compared with some domestic auto manufacturers, the research about car occupant restraint system in foreign companies initialed earlier. They have developed some software to evaluate and develop occupant restraint system. As a significant design analysis method used in developing occupant restraint systems, MADYMO can remarkably reduce the number of real experiments, cut the cost and shorten the development process.Car occupant restraint system consist airbag, seat belt, seat, etc. We take the whole system as a target. In order to work best, we need to coordinate, match some parameters of the restraint system. The paper takes a vehicle as an example and builds the model of driver restraint systems, which includes vehicle, seat belt, air bag and Hybrid III dummy. The paper analyzes the dynamic response of the driver in front impact and the sensitivity of the parameters of the restraint system. In order to improve the parameters of the restraint system and reduce the injury of the driver, the paper use the theory of orthogonal and R.After coordinate some parameters, the performance of occupant restraint system has significantly improved...
