As a part of bridge, slab plays an important part in Cohesion Bridge and roadbed, it's a key element of solving the Bridge-Head Bump, and however, there are no unified design standards for it. In this paper, slap's important position in the development of highway and railway construction career at home and abroad has been stated, it has been indicated that proper settlement of bridge approach slab can fundamentally solve Bridge-Head Bump, and the key technique research is about the structure as well as the internal force and settlement changes of slab under various loads. Lots of research results -contrast of theoretical data and actual data-aimed at make its maximum economic benefits, and have important practical value and significance. This thesis mainly completed the following several aspects of the work(1) Modeling for different structure form of slab and conduct calculation by ANSYS software, contract results of different slab models in which slab's geometric design parameters and setting of slab and pillow beam are different so as to draw the best design.(2) Though systematically analyze of different materials properties of slab and the embankment, contract the changes of internal force and settlement of slab under moving load, to determine the parameter control of materials properties of slab and the embankment.(3) Assuming the most unfavorable situation occur in usage of slab, such as local empty or rupture, analyze the impact of the greatest stress change and the maximal displacement settlement, so as to ensure safety and applicability of slab in usage.(4) Considering the interconnections of slab's different design parameters, based on regression analysis of these data and estimate of settlement development trend, adopt computer language to conduct software design, in order to be better applied to such slab design project and software development research.Summarize the above aspects of content, the best geometric parameters, optimal material properties and more convenient design software of slab are been proposed in this paper. It provides technical guidance and design reference for project construction and design, also guarantee driving safety for the driver and comfort for passengers. Therefore, research of slab in this paper is a very important work, meanwhile has important practical value and practical significance to the development of national economy and social progress.
