Ballast water is defined one of four threat to ocean by Global Environmental Facility(GEF). According to the incomplete data, there are 10 million tons ballast water are transfered with ships every year. In this case, it causes massive microrganism irrational invasion. And it will make serious impact to the ocean ecologic environment even catastrophic.So many countries and experts of International Maritime Organization(IMO) has tried their best to research how to treat ballast water efficiently recent years. IMO through the ship ballast water and sediment control and management in Februrary 2004, international convention makes strict ballast water discharge standards.Based on the importance of ballast water treatment in this field, and domestic no products on the market, coupled with import from abroad costs more. After the analysis of domestic and foreign existing various ballast water treatment technologies and methods, this paper on the basis of design a set of environmental protection, simple, and practical ballast water treatment system solid-liquid separation combined with ultraviolet disinfection, focus on the control system structure and control algorithm of the management system.In part, the principle of solid-liquid separation method and recoiling water treatment now widely used techniques are studied. Demonstrated ultimately choose energy-saving and high efficiency and compact structure of automatic folding chip filters. It can complete filtering, continuous outlet and automatic backwash process, cause the ballast water processing efficiency has been greatly improved.In UV disinfection part, studied the mechanism of UV disinfection, UV lamp classification and electronic ballast role. Through the analysis and comparision of currently used UV disinfection technology, renders some problems should pay attention to when use UV disinfection into ship ballast water treatment. Making compromise between energy consumption and taking up space, selects more medium-voltage UV lamps as root of UV radiation source. Finally, proposed fuzzy control algorithm can automatically adjust the size of UV intensity according to the ballast water real-time flow. In this case, UV disinfection process achieves a energy saving and efficient operation effect. After MATLAB experiment simulation proves this algorithm can achieve expected index requirements.At last this paper finishes the ballast water treatment system hardware building and software design, completes a set of practical ballast water treatment control management system.
