Hydraulic axial piston pump has been commonly used in the majority of fluid power applications for specific advantages such as compact dimension,high power density and long lifecycle.With the development of fluid power transmission and control techniques,the axial piston pump will be developed toward the direction of high pressure and large flow.Axial piston pump with conical cylinder blocks is a new type of hydraulic power components that developed from the fundament of the traditional swash plate axial piston pump.Compared with the traditional swash plate axial piston pump,it has many significant advantages,such as large geometric flow,small size and a higher rotational speed in the same component materials.Firstly the kinematics and dynamics of the piston of the swash plate axial piston pump with conical cylinder blocks is deduced detailedly in theory in this thesis;The flow pulsation characteristics of the piston pum was researched, the folw unevenness coefficient of the piston pump with unequal piston number was got by computer simulation research, at the same time the factors that influence the transient flow characteristics is analysed and researched; The design and verification method of conical cylinder block is analysed detailedly, the structure optimization model of conical cylinder block is constructed,and the design method of piston angle is propsed; The design theory of the Retaining Mechanism is deduced.Then the structure feature and variable displacement principle of the research object in this thesis—Rexroth A11VO190 axial piston pump are analysed detailedly. The virtual prototype technology is applied to the piston pump design and exploit.The study based on the simulation of virtual prototype technology obviously rise the efficiency while reducing the expense and time of experiment. It is playing an important role in the research into the characteristics of piston pump.It can improve the design level of piston pump.The swash plate axial piston pump with conical cylinder blocks assembly model is built in the Pro/E three-dimensional design software.Hydraulic system simulation software AMESim and multi-system dynamic analisis and simulation software ADAMS are combined together. The virtual prototype model with mechanical and fluid integration of axial piston pump with conical cylinder blocks is established through the interface between the two softwares. The flow property of piston pump and the piston motion law were researched, the stress of bearings and piston-slipper unit mount were analysed by the simulation on the virtual prototype model with mechanical and fluid integration of piston pump.
