With the developing of Fluid Power transmission and control technology, an increasing demanding for capability of piston pump is even higher. To Research and design high-powered piston pump, only through traditional physical experiments takes much time ,and can not change parameter of piston pump freely, even some can not be realized. The result of analysis for piston pump by common theory is far away with the real status. The developing of Virtual Prototype Technology provides the possibility for researching nonlinear complex system precisely by simulation.The virtual prototype technology's information, several rigid bodies dynamics simulation software ADAMS, the structure and principle of axis piston pump and the basic knowledge of ANSYS are introduced in the paper; each part and assembling model are built in the CAD software Pro/E, analyzing and discussing the Pro/E-ADAMS interface, choosing the better file formart to import, and the SCY14-1B mode is built; It is appended the joins and the force, and built the physical model of SCY14-1B, simulated at different parameters, got corresponding results. The simulation results are compared in detail, the conclusion is that the RPM is confined and the odd number piston flowrate is fluctuated little.The SCY14-1B axis piston pump is simulated using virtual prototype technology, and the simulation analysis is correct and viable by comparing with the theory, which means the new production of pump is exploited with virtual prototype technology.The mode and structure of the transmission axis of SCY14-1B is analyzed by finite element software ANSYS, got 6 mode of membrance and the action force in detail . Because of its clear physical concept and flexible analysis, the simulation based on virtual prototyping is more convenient for the research intothe characteristics of piston pump.
