The Conservation And Heritage Of Local Culture In The Rural Landscape Planning And Design

Local culture is an integral part of a long history of traditional Chinese culture-and the vast rural areas is the foundation and source, of breed and nurture local culture. Today, owing to the urban development, the damage on rural landscape has brought unprecedented challenges for the development of China's local culture. In this paper, base on the landscape design disciplines, combining architecture, urban planning, geography, ecology, sociology and other related disciplines research results of theory and practice. Firstly, the paper elaborate the concepts of the local culture and rural landscape, and secondly, analysis the formation of local cultural factors and its carrier and performance in the rural landscape at different levels to understand the internal causes, landscape elements and performance form of local culture. Finally, according to the two main aspect of protect and inheritance, proposed the theory and methods of protection and inheritance local culture in rural landscape planning and design.
