As energy shortage and environmental degradation problems get increasingly serious in the current whole world, the research and development of pure electric vehicles (PEV) is attracting more and more attention from people, for it is one of the most efficient technologies to solve the difficult problems. In researching process of PEV, using the computer to establish the simulation models to simulate the dynamic performance is a better way, for it can reduces the development cycle and cost, examines the performance of PEV. Therefore, many governments and industry pay more manpower and fund to research this technical. This paper, based on one micro-electric car, the demands of dynamic performance are proposed, and transmission system is selected and matched. At the same time, after analyse the mathematical models of automotive dynamic, motor, wheel and battery, establish the corresponding MATLAB/Simulink simulation models. On this basis, design simulation software of PEV dynamic performance GDUT PEVSim, based on VC++ platform which using MATLAB as the data processing tools. And use GDUT PEVSim to test the dynamic performance of the micro-electric vehicle. Propose following viewpoints:(1) At present, there is little simulation software of PEV dynamic performance at home which has the independent property right. In the artic, referring to the commercial vehicle simulation software, such as Advisor2004,PAST and Cruise, design a simulation software of PEV dynamic performance which have the independent property right, based on VC++and MATLAB.(2) Through the GDUT PEVSim, acceleration performance, grade ability, maximum speed and retaining distance of PEV were calculated in different operating conditions, and characteristic curves of PEV dynamic performance were drew. Results show that, the matching of transmission system is reasonable and the feasibility of simulation modules is verified.(3) In order to confirm the feasibility of this software, the PEV dynamic performance was tested using software AVL Cruise3.0. Through the comparison of the simulation data with the results of GDUT PEVSim, the accuracy and practicability of the software is verified. The research on modeling and simulation in this thesis can be applied to other vehicles, and the software GDUT PEVSim built in this article can be used for vehicle design and teaching training.
