Regarded as the secondary charge of inverted sequence initiation tandem warhead and warhead used alone, the research on the shaped charge with center hole and protect tube is very rare. But in engineering practice, it will encounter the need of opening in the shaped charge liner and warhead and also has certain influence on the properties of the shaped charge. In order to satisfy the needs of both the project and power requirements of warheads, the paper proposes a new kind of structure about the shaped charge with center hole.Based on the development of the shape charge with a center hole ,combined with the fusion effect, it does the numerical simulation study on the shape charge with a center hole by the numerical simulation method. It analyzes the penetration and the forming processing of the high-speed jet, obtains the critical condition of producing the high-speed jet. It discusses the factors which influence on the properties of the shaped charge such as the diameter of the central hole, the thickness of the protect tube, the connection mode between the shaped charge liner and the protect tube. It is the most obvious factor that the diameter of central hole affects on the properties of the penetration.In order to do the further research on the power of penetration and the high-speed jet formed by shaped charge with the center hole, the paper adopted the numerical simulation and experimental validation method. Under the comparison in two different kinds of case about the results of numerical simulation, it determines the structure and materials of the warheads in experiment. The results can better fit the experimental results, it proves the rationality of the proposed structure and it also indicates the numerical simulation way is a kind of effective research methods closely to the reality. The results of this study can provide reference to the research work for shaped charge with center hole.
