With the increasing complexity of modern war and the development of high technology,tanks and armored vehicles are faced with the threat of various types of armor weapons.Armor is an effective measure for defensiving.To meet the need of modern war,it requires constant development and progress.In this paper,the round tube-ERA integrated armor and the influence factor of intercepting jet were studied according to this background.Firstly,the finite element software ANSYS/LS-DYNA was used for establishing the numerical models of shaped charge jet penetrating the round tube-ERA integrated armor and studing some influence factors of intercepting jet which included the angle of tilt,the spacing between the armor tube and the plate and the thickness of the tube wall.Then,by means of the analysis of the parameters such as the form of jet,residual kinetic energy and depth of penetration,the influence rule of the structural parameter was summarized.In addition,the performance of double parallel explosive reaction armor was compared with the round tube-ERA integrated armor under the same angle of tilt.Finally,the accuracy of the simulation results was verified by experiments.The results show that the performance of round tube-ERA integrated armor and double parallel explosive reaction armor will be enhanced with the increase of angle of tilt and the performance of round tube-ERA integrated armor is better than the double parallel explosive reaction armor at the same angle of tilt.Increasing space between the round tube and sandwich charge will decrease the penetration depth of the posterior targe,but when the space reached a certain value,the protective effect is no obvious change by increasing the space continuely.Controlling the spacing of about 40 mm is best.When the outer diameter of round tube is 60 mm and the thickness of the tube wall is about 6mm,the penetration depth islightest.The experimental results agree well with the simulation results.It will help to study the design and application of more types of armor.
