| At present, the research of reliability for the existing sreinforced concerte beam bridge at home and abroad has been well developed. However, it's fewer for the strengthened RC beam-bridge. With the rapid development of economy, increasing vehicle load, traffic flow, and all sorts of environments, at present, the safety performance evaluation of existing bridge has becomes one of the major task to study.In this text, on basis of Specifications for Strengthening Design of Highway Bridges>(JTG/T J22-2008), the shear strength of diagonal section of RC T-beam bridge with bonded steel plates were computed, with the reliability theory. The statistical parameters of indefiniteness for computing paradigm has been got with the computational analysis of test data:μKRV,σKRV,δKRV. Moreover, based on computational analysis method present, this text has structured the detection probability compute model of the shear strength for RC T-beam bridge with bonded steel U-plates. Also, the chang law of reliability index for the ratio of vehicle action effect to dead effect, improving of dead effect and improving of vehicle load, before and after strengthened, has been computed.Based on those methods above, the reliability index of RC T-beam bridge strengthened with steel plates has been calculated. In addition, this text has developed the influence and it's regularity for change of coefficient of variation of dead load, vehicle load and the area of the steel plate to the reliability index. For dead load and vehicle load, the reliability index is not much different; however, the contribution of steel plate's area to the reliability index decreases with increasing the area of the steel plate.
