The scale of city is expanding constantly and the number of population is increasing quickly by economy development. The road noise problem is getting worse with the sharp expansion of urban traffic flow. Meanwhile, people's life quality requirements are improving constantly, so the city road noise has become hot problems, which is concerned widely. Tires road traffic noise is a very important source of traffic noise.The near-field method was adapted to measure tires and road noise. The type of trailer,structure,size,sound-absorbing materials and microphones and noise measurement analysis system were designed specifically. The noise on different conditions of speeds, load, pavement were measured by the car, the research result stated that:①The tires and road noise increased with the speed and load, meanwhile the influence of speed on noise was bigger than load.②On the same conditions, the noise of porous pavement was 3~5 db less than ordinary pavements, at the same time the mechanism and influencing factors of porous pavement were analyzed. On this base and combined with home and abroad noise research, a noise evaluation system which is base on objective and subjective aspects was introduced. According to the characteristics of the traffic noise,5 objective and 3 objective evaluation index were put forward. The character and application scope of each evaluation index were analyzed. Several evaluation index were choosed when a piece of road was evaluate, the noise ought to be evaluated on subjective and objective two aspects. At last, the current standard of traffic noise was also analysed, the existing problem and corresponding suggestion were pointed out. The maxium of noise stander was obtained by an instance which is about standard formulate method.
