Wheeled vehicles' off-road performance is closely related with the tire pressure, When the vehicle is traveling on the flat cement road or the comparatively hard road, increasing tire pressure can improve its speed; When encountered soft or no road area, reducing the tire pressure can ensure its passing, tire inflation/deflation system is such a kind of device that can automatically adjusts the tire pressure. Through it, adjusting the tire pressure can be achieved conveniently and fast, but the structure of traditional system is relatively complicated and the material is highly request, limiting its widespread use.Considering the traditional system's weaknesses, this paper designs a new tire inflation/deflation system based on inductive power transmission. Compared with the traditional system, this design applies inductive power transfer technology to solve the power supply of tire control part, so the structure is simple and the operation is more convenient.This paper firstly detailed analyzes the traditional tire inflation/deflation system, including the structure and its working process, puts forwards to the design of a new type system based on inductive power transmission technology. Then, it studies the principle of inductive power transmission technology, analyses the influence of compensation of power output through numerical calculation method, verified the necessity of using compensation capacitor. The design principle of IPT is given, elements involved in the process of design is detailed studied, the criterion of stability is analyzed, the circuit topology and parameters is determined, the possibility of IPT by simulation and experimental analysis is verified. Finally, it studies and designs the realization of tire inflation or deflation, the design of sending/receiving circuit of pressure monitoring is completed, and applies microprocessor to control miniature pump and electromagnetic valve to achieve adjusting pressure function.
