ABSTRACT:With the strong development of Urban Rail Transit and the domestic high-speed railway, Signal equipment of safety computer platform is increasing high demand. Common structure of safety computer platform is hot standby Platform, 2×2-out-of-2 and 2-out-of-3.This paper in detail discusses design and implementation of the hot standby platform based on COTS and software diversity. With the background of CTCS-3 and CBTC signal equipment, and hot standby mechanism based on a third-party HSMU, in accordance with EN 50128 and EN 50129, a type of hot standby platform that different applications can be ported is designed.By analysing building of hardware platform, hot standby state transition mechanism, hot standby synchronous, hot standby switch, hot standby data communication, this paper in detail discusses design and implementation of the hot standby platform based on COTS and software diversity.This paper in detail introduces kernel, file system, kernel development, kernel release, kernel testing of Linux and FreeBSD operating system used in the hot standby platform. On the basis of EN 50128 and open source features of Linux and FreeBSD operating system, That Linux and FreeBSD are well satisfied for SIL-2 is analysed.Finally, the hot standby platform based on COTS and Software Diversity is build under laboratory situation environment. The laboratory simulation test result show that the hot standby platform realizes the basic function, proving that the hot standby platform can be realized.In this paper, Figure is 30, Table is 19, and reference is 36.
