| Drive-axle assembly of automobile is the key composition of commercial vehicle chassis and its quality has a great impact on the power, the fuel consumption, the brake performance and the life of the whole vehicle, and so on. At present, the automatic assembly line of the axle is applied in many factories which produce axles in china, but the assembly quality inspection of the axels is not paid enough attention and backward in the detection methods generally, etc.In this paper, common quality problems and the symptoms in running operation of drive-axle assembly of automobile are analyzed in detail based on the researches of the structure of drive-axle. The solutions of comprehensive detection systems of drive-axle are studied out by tightness, temperature, noise, moment of resistance, braking performance and so on as detecting objects based on those symptoms, in which the assembly finished of axle is detected comprehensively in quality performance to ensure the products qualitative. Several common inspection forms of driving-axle listed in the paper are analyzed in characteristics and applications and the open comprehensive detection systems are finally selected for this research direction and formulated detailed solutions.Comprehensive performance test system for drive-axle is divided by function into three structures, which are test bench, acquisition/control system and detection software, and these parts are planned and designed detailed in turn:the integration of the base for test bench with overall layout form is set positioning support, pneumatic clamping, tooling adjustment, injection row of oil circulation and so on to meet the test requirements of pipeline and reduce the footprint; acquisition/control system is applied in a form, which combines sensor, PLC, IPC, programming language and touch screen, to take into account the degree of automation and reliability of control for data acquisition; detection software is developed by Visual Studio C# programming tool and Access database of Microsoft and used in the devices which are of serial communication under Modbus industrial transport association using SerialPort control and it provides data processing, detection control, HMI and other functions at the same time.Finally, comprehensive detection systems of drive-axle for commercial vehicle are introduced in detail in terms of practical application in the workshop process and operating methods. Comprehensive quality inspection of drive-axle before leaving factories will mot only help reduce rework and improve the quality of vehicles, but also reduce the deficiencies in the design, manufacturing and processing for drive-axle assembly to improve products competitiveness. |
